Title: The Isle of Mora

Characters/Pairings: Merlin/Arthur (main), Morgana/Gwen (side), Mordred, Hunith, minor OCs, etc.
Summary: When Arthur and Merlin go on a trip to the mysterious Isle of Mora, the best case scenario would be that Merlin summons up the courage to finally tell Arthur how he feels about him, they have amazing sex, and enjoy the scenery. The worst case would be that Merlin gets magnificently sunburnt, accidentally reveals his magic, is almost sacrificed to the Gods of the Isle, loses his memory, and finds himself on the run with an Arthur who is struggling to come to terms with Merlin's betrayal and the idea that magic is not all he was taught it was. This story is a combination of both scenarios.
Warnings/Spoilers: Memory loss, a brief scene that could be considered dub-con (it occurs after Merlin’s lost his memory and Arthur doesn’t realise), human sacrifice, allusions to self-harm (blink and you’ll miss it), involuntary intoxication, violence against humans and animals.
Notes: Canon AU written for Merlin Big Bang 2013, in which Arthur and Merlin are still prince and manservant, Morgana isn’t evil (and never will be, ty) and Mordred is a knight without an insane, Arthur-killing destiny. Oh, also Will isn’t dead.

Annnd, apart from that, I just read an adorable little Bradley/Colin drabble on Tumblr, which'll take you about half a minute to read if you want to hiccup over something small and fluffy.

Now I'm going to go and revise and most definitely NOT check AO3 for 00Q fics, nope.

I've been listening to podfics for a little while now (I downloaded quite a few over the summer, anyway) and guh, I just love them so much :') I mean, there have been one or two that I had to stop listening to because of poor quality or whatever, but on the most part I really enjoy them, so I thought I'd make a lil reclist of the ones I've listened to :)

Plot and words and all things nice belong to Cait, music belongs to Mumford and Sons and voice belongs to meeee :’) I’m praying that the quality’ll be okay (except welp okay there are a couple of small incidents involving a helicopter and an ambulance…or possibly a fire engine /sigh). I can't stop thinking about Felix Baumgartner. 

I haven't even watched the full video of the jump yet, but we watched a clip in English today and he suddenly became my favourite thing.

I don't have a clue how he found the courage to jump, and it makes me scared just thinking about it but oh my God. He must have been fucking terrified and he still did it.

In English, we were having a bit of a debate about whether what he did was 'brave' or 'idiotic'. I think the general consensus was that it was a bit of both, but some people said it wasn't brave at all. That it didn't take bravery to jump, what was it? 24/25 miles up? To jump, not wanting to die but risking your life anyway. I mean.

That man is wild.

Humm, I'm thinking of making a comm and moving all my fic over to there, if only because I'm a bit of an organisational freak (although, only when it comes to computer type things...looking around my room now, I can hardly see the floor) and I'd get to tag everything properly and tglskslg

Also, does anyone know where I can find good LJ themes? I mean, I like this one, but I'm such a theme whore, as one of my friends once put it, and I keep falling in love with other people's and dkjsdfg IDK where to get them from *pouts*

Now I have to do some art homework...I'm meant to be drawing an African landscape and it's going.....interestingly. Hmph.
