Cassidy in Boston

I'm still flying high. Last night, I was in Boston for Cassidy Haley's show at Copperfields, a bar on Brookline Drive. It was a benefit show for The Trevor Project, which works with gay and lesbian teens to help them deal with the problems that come from being a homosexual or transgender teenager.

I got to the bar, met the leader of Cassidy's Boston Street Team (I'm a member of his NY Street Team), turned around and there was Cassidy, leaning against the bar talking to a few people. I never expected him to be RIGHT THERE. I expected him to be in the back somewhere, getting ready for the show. He never did leave. He stayed right there in the bar until it was time for him to perform. Another band played first and he stayed and listened to them.

He Called!!!!

Cassidy called me tonight to serenade me for winning the contest. He was amazing to talk to and the song he sang was even more amazing. He made it up on the spot. He said he just went with it and sang whatever came to his mind. It really was my own little Cassidy song. ::SWOONING::

I asked him if I could record it and put it on the internet for my friends to hear, but he said he would feel too self-conscious and would feel like he need to censor himself and think too much about what he was saying, so I didn't record it. But it was so amazing! We chatted for a few minutes before he sang, and then again for a few minutes after he sang to me. I'm on Cloud Nine and I think I might be until at least this time next week!!!! Cassidy is such a sweetheart. :D

Community Update

Hi everyone! I'm here to help get this community updated, and keep you informed of anything newsworthy for Cassidy Haley. In the next few weeks I plan to update the layout, and get everything consistent with Cassidy's other social network sites. I started today by updating the links list on the main page, so you should be able to find everything you need on there.

Please know this is, and will always be a fansite. I'm not here in any official Sunshine Rebel Records capacity other than keeping you all updated. I won't be running anything in here on a day to day basis, so things will continue as they have been. If anyone has any questions or suggestions please feel free to ask in the comments, and I'll try to get back to you as quickly as I can. I'll be in and out for the next few days getting a feel for everything.

On to the fun parts for today:

1. Cassidy is doing a Ustream tomorrow night (9/16) at 6:30pm PST . He wants to thank everyone that has already donated, and everyone that wants to come to the ustream is invited. He usually plays live music, answers questions, and talks with fans, so you should all try to stop in. http://www.ustream.tv/channel/cass…

2. The This Time video fundraiser runs until 9/20. The goal has been reached, but there are great incentives available. At the lowest donation level you are entered into a raffle and get access to a ustream of the video shoot. Every dollar helps, and it would be amazing if the fans blew his goal out of the water.
