I’m Casper, or Cas, I don’t mind getting nicknamed I think it’s very funny when strangers refer to me informally. I’m a queer disabled writer, artist, and professional GM on StartPlaying, always open to questions about life with disability or ttrpgs and such, and if you’d like to learn how to play monster of the week I am always open to requests on startplaying or shoot me an ask on here about it. Always happy to have new players.

Current Hyperfixations: I’m very into Knights Of Guinevere right now but I’m sure @lackadaisycats is about to consume my every waking thought, please click that link if you’re into speakeasies and the 1920s or other Glitch productions because it’s going to be a fantastic ride.

Current projects:

@roostingwindow, my art blog, i’ve recently opened a store with some really fun merch and designs made to confuse the hell of out of people you walk past, like these

I have a web building project kind of like the SCP foundation called The Aspera Project, very much under construction but it does consume my every waking thought so. Updates to come and vibes at @theasperagroup

with November coming up again I am also hosting a prompt month with writing craft focused prompts as a replacement for NaNoWriMo, and that is at @nowrimomo and Here

I also have a bee sideblog at @thebeelog where I reblog everything related to bees. Because I like them.

I write a lot of short stories and prompt fills and those are usually tagged #original fiction or #aspera project

Thank you to everyone who reached out to me about the three part video series my ex roommate posted on TikTok about how awful I was.

I did not watch it, mostly because it added up to 30 minutes in length. And although I admire their capability to talk about one subject for 30 minutes straight, I don’t have 30 spare minutes.

That being said, I want to address one thing—I have never had sick raccoons in my house.

The “sick raccoons” they supposedly said I was threatening to unleash upon the home while engaging in princess time were not sick. Unless they count being gay and sad as being sick.

Or they meant “sick” as in “totally radical.” In that case, yes. I’d classify Rum Tum Tugger and Electra as sick.

What helped me write trauma better is remembering that the nervous system learns predictions. If danger used to come after quiet, calm can feel threatening. If kindness used to come with a price, kindness can feel suspicious. So healing is not just “they know they’re safe now.” Healing is the slow, annoying, deeply unfair process of teaching the body that the old prediction is not always the present truth.
