You know there is something so insidious about the ways in which people see single people. If you're single, for whatever number of reasons, and you speak about relationships people can get incredibly weird about it.
if you've never had a major Life Changing Move in Together Get a Joint Bank Account relationship people treat you as though you are some manner of lost puppy or over grown twelve year old. If you've had that type of relationship and it ended, for any number of reasons, people insist on knowing all the gritty details so they may judge whether you were the hapless victim of a crazy ex or you were the crazy ex. The concept that things can end amicably or even neutrally is bafflingly foreign to people.
Single people don't typically go around offering unsolicited relationship advice but they are expected to put up with every manner of unhinged advice on How to Get a Man/Girl/Whoever. When we do offer our advice it is met with absolute ire and dismissed as though we are a child that spoke out of turn.
Single people get to run the gambit of being infantilized and villainized for the mere mundanity of just existing without a partner. Countless people will tell you their relationship woes and then become livid when you have the audacity to suggest that maybe they don't have to be doing that.
earlier today i saw a bumper sticker that said I've Been Fishing For So Long, My Mom Gets Social Security! which is so nonsensical that i'm still thinking about it
i was so haunted by this absurdity that i decided to retrace my steps and try to find it again so i could make sure that i didn't read it incorrectly. and GUESS WHAT

Do not get it twisted. yes it is normal to feel horny when you ovulate. no it does not deeply compel you to go back to your ex or cheat or some shit of you weren't already considering. no you're NOT WEIRD if you get horny during ovulation or if you get angry during pre menstruation or menstruation THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU. your mood is tied to hormones. everyone's mood. men's mood as well. some people can even get suicidal off hormonal imbalances. give yourselves and each other a fucking break. having a uterus is hard enough without us making it harder on each other.
Like maybe I'm being too woke or maybe I'm being too radical but I think treating every woman who is vulnerable and prone to feelings that aren't "socially acceptable" or "appealing" as a fucking enemy of feminism for being flawed might be a bit misogynistic.
I forgot I was on the missing the point website like yes abrupt hormonal imbalances are Bad and if you feel these emotions to the point where they're particularly debilitating there "is something wrong with you" but like. In the medical sense and in the sense that it probably can be fixed. But you're not an animal for wanting to fuck or a moral failure to feminism if you get pissy during your period. That's what I meant.

People always focus on the "lockpicking" part of his name and ignore that the lockpicking lawyer is, indeed, a lawyer, and can tell you exactly which crimes you committed in getting this lock to him
Fun stuff: I got stuck at the first board of Chapter 3, because I’m going for the mantle but I SUCK at that board. Tried winning it several times, failed, didn’t even get enough points to buy the S ranking.
And then I looked up online some tricks to beat the board.
Fellas. It turns out. You can get infinite points from Mini Susie pulling weeds. And there’s a specific point of the board where there’s two screens full of weeds, so you just need to enter one, wait for Susie to pull them, enter the other, wait again, enter the other one, etc. But the thing about me. It’s that I’m insane at grinding.
In the end, I farmed 8000 points, got a T ranking from that, and since I did not so bad at the others I got a S rank. And I have enough points to buy the next one, and to buy the rest of the chapter, frankly.
Had an awesome idea to buy a cookie jar (actually a tin can, but whatever). Now instead of eating 15 cookies at once in the afternoon while spending the rest of the day hungry, I get to snack on a couple of cookies so I fell full for longer and I don’t need to eat that much later.
