Dental cleanings are essential for maintaining oral hygiene and preventing dental problems. At Calgary South Dental, our professional cleanings remove plaque and tartar buildup that regular brushing and flossing might miss. Our skilled hygienists use specialized tools to clean your teeth meticulously, ensuring a brighter smile and healthier gums. Regular cleanings also help prevent bad breath and more serious conditions like gum disease.

In addition to cleaning, we offer personalized advice on maintaining your oral health at home. Our team will guide you on proper brushing and flossing techniques and recommend products suited to your needs. Regular dental cleanings, combined with good home care, are the foundation of a healthy mouth and a beautiful smile.

Emergency Root Canal Treatment When do I need it?

Emergency root canal treatment becomes necessary when you experience intense and persistent tooth pain, often exacerbated by chewing or applying pressure. This pain typically indicates that the tooth’s nerve is infected or damaged, requiring immediate intervention to alleviate discomfort and prevent further complications. Including swelling around the affected tooth or gums, sensitivity to hot or cold temperatures that persists after the stimulus is removed, and the presence of a pimple-like bump on the gums can all signal the need for emergency root canal therapy. At Calgary South Dental, we offer prompt evaluation and treatment of such symptoms to address the underlying issue effectively and preserve the tooth’s health and function.
