I've been watching, listening to the news.. of Storm ravaged south.

But the facts... or what's being said about the nursing home.. where the owners waited until the last damn moment to order evacs... and left 30 plus residents... and workers to DIE...

Well i'm beyond livid.. pissed.. and down right ready to scream!!!

Because... there are just so many who could be blamed... but the owners are the top of the lists!!



Last year we had a resident walk out.. while the charge nurse stood there and watched... and told his two aides NOT to go after her... WAIT before you get mad.

The two aides on duty..... were fresh out of school and didn't know any better. They learned to listen to the Nurse in charge....

I was asked the very next day... after she had been found safe and sound... what would I have done...

Told Timmy... I would have looked at the charge.. and said fuck you and went out the door... and three days later.. I was asked by a state inspector... what I would have done... I said the same thing... except NO bad words...

What should they have done????

I know what should have been done.. but I'm not gonna critized the dead... but the owners should be held liable..

We have it drilled into our heads... in case of emergency.. what to do!!!

I'm for one will not wait for the owners to call and tell me IF I can evac... The charge nurse on duty..... well....unless she's dead...


alright.. i'll step off my soapbox.......

If one more person tells me that the END OF THE WORLD IS COMING...

or...

THAT THE PEOPLE OF THE SOUTH DESERVED IT.. ESECIALLY NEW ORLEANS.....

Tell me did.. George Bush stand in the middle of the flipping ocean and do a rain dance????

BUT.... not getting in there after the fact????

it's just NOT his fault.. it's lots of idoits fault..
