honestly i really don't care about the actual like, narrative quality with a few exceptions

i recently joined a kh discord just to have somewhere to talk about shit and a bunch of people are like "i don't want them to bring roxas back bc his arc is done"

and like that's totally Valid and you're entitled to your opinion but it's Wrong bc i want my boy back

i would be super pissed if they undid all of riku's character development, but other than that i think they have a lot of leeway as far as character's arcs like, i think they could do a bunch with roxas and his narrative would still have meaning.

GOD the new soul calibur's "story mode" is so hard i literally start rage sweating during fights

like, i definitely also suck, but even people on reddit, where nobody admits to being bad at video games agree it's ridiculous

i was super excited to FINALLY play the new Pillars of Eternity 2 DLC now that I've finished the Fic from Hell

In the past six months since starting my job, I’ve gotten super into podcasts. A new one I’ve been following is Broken Harts.

It’s a true crime podcast about the deaths of the Hart family, including children so like, all the trigger warnings. There’s discussion of homophobia, racism, abuse, and more. It’s incredibly upsetting. It makes me angry to listen to. There’s two full episodes but so far the reporting and production quality are very good.

Even just the first two episodes have stuck with me, and I want to make this post as a reminder to myself and others. As queer white people, we are not absolved of our role in white supremacy by virtue of our queerness. We need to actively monitor and change our behavior to ensure that we’re not perpetuating racism. We need to do better.

when i was in middle school, the women in my family were pressuring me to shave my legs/armpits etc. bc nothing says family like making young women hate their bodies but w/e

so i did and shaved off a giant strip of skin on my leg. i then proceeded to shave off the same spot of skin on my other leg. and my arm.
