Jacky Chen reacted on thisJacky Chen reacted on thisReally excited to announce KPMG’s global alliance with Anthropic and the opportunities this creates for our clients across Canada. This alliance brings together KPMG’s deep industry experience with Anthropic’s frontier AI capabilities to help organizations move faster, simplify complexity and make decisions with greater confidence in a rapidly changing environment. Two aspects of this alliance are especially significant. First, Anthropic’s Claude capabilities will be integrated into KPMG’s Digital Gateway platform. This marks the first time Claude tools will be embedded within a Big Four tax platform, further strengthening a market-leading platform designed to help clients transform how tax work gets done. Second, with KPMG’s leading position in the Canadian private equity market, we are uniquely positioned to help PE firms and portfolio companies harness AI to accelerate growth, improve operations and create long-term value. Most importantly, this innovation is grounded in trust. As AI becomes embedded in everyday business, organizations need confidence that these technologies are secure, responsible and backed by strong governance. Canada has a tremendous opportunity to lead in the responsible adoption of AI, and this alliance will help clients take the next step forward with confidence. Find out more: https://lnkd.in/eFh6Q_9q

Jacky Chen liked thisJacky Chen liked this🚀 We kicked off KPMG Canada’s AI Made Real Summit Series in Vancouver last week, and continued the momentum at our Toronto summit yesterday where leaders came together focused on translating AI potential into real, scalable execution. 💡 I had the opportunity to open the Toronto session and introduce our keynote speaker, Salim Ismail, whose perspective was a powerful reminder that exponential technologies don’t just challenge systems, they challenge how leaders think, decide, and design for scale - a conversation we extended during a VIP Meet & Greet lunch with Salim and executive leaders following the session! 🏙️ Across both cities, the most energizing discussions centered on decision rights, data foundations, workforce readiness, and what it truly takes to move from pilots to enterprise impact. AI has become a leadership discipline, not a side initiative. 👏 I am incredibly proud of the role KPMG continues to play in convening these conversations alongside Microsoft and am especially grateful to our amazing teams who put tremendous care into making these summits thoughtful, practical, and impactful. Thank you! 🙌 And we’re just getting started: Montréal, Calgary, and Ottawa are up next. Jacky Chen liked thisI had a fantastic time yesterday with my fellow panelists Pallavi Tripathi and Keith Ajmani, sharing our journeys to scale AI as we grow and develop our people. Thank you Oliver St Clair-Stannard for making our conversation real, educational and collaborative. #ProudToWorkAtBMOJacky Chen liked thisIf AI is now part of the strategy, the real question is straightforward: how do we know what it’s actually contributing? That was the focus of the “From Manual to Measurable: Proving AI’s Impact on Payments Transformation” panel — a candid discussion that moved past the hype and into reality. We talked about where AI is truly shaping delivery, where it’s still falling short, and what it would take scale it across Canada's payments industry in a way that drives economic growth and convenience for Canadians. BMO’s Sladjana J. shared a practical, down-to-earth perspective on moving from experimentation to real value — from putting the right foundations in place, to modernizing legacy environments, to giving teams the confidence to test, learn, and build use cases that drive true financial progress. Thank you to Payments Canada and the fellow panelists for a thoughtful discussion on where AI is already making an impact — and where there’s still work to do.

At Davos, Mark Carney’s message of trust, innovation, and resilience aligns with PwC Canada’s #ValueinMotion research, underscoring the opportunities and challenges facing the GTA’s dynamic market. With 41% of Canadian CEOs citing regulatory complexity as a top risk, and only 23% having significantly scaled AI adoption, there is a pressing need for bold innovation and collaboration. As 61% of leaders prioritize customer experience as a growth driver, now is the time to act decisively to unlock growth and build a smarter, more resilient future together. https://lnkd.in/gYGEZwFn #WEF26 #CEOSurvey

A GREAT OUTCOME!!! EY advised AIM Group Holdings Inc. (“AIM” or the “Company”) and its shareholders on the sale of the Company to Convertus Canada Ltd. (“Convertus” or the “Company”). AIM offers composting facility design and operations, as well as the sale of the resulting compost products. The Company operates municipally owned facilities in Hamilton and Guelph, Ontario; Calgary and Lethbridge, Alberta; and Halifax, Nova Scotia under long-term contracts. AIM was owned by Maple Reinders Group Inc., a construction company, and the founder, Theo Van Wely. Convertus is a leader in organic waste processing, offering facility design, build, operate and maintenance services. The Company is headquartered in London, Ontario, and is majority owned by Convent Capital, a private equity firm based in the Netherlands. The acquisition of AIM by Convertus marks a major milestone in the waste management industry, bringing together two of the country’s most experienced players in organic waste processing. A shout out to my corporate finance colleagues Brock McMillan, CA, CFA; Chris Hutchinson; Heather Powell, CPA, CBV; and Blake Ianni, CPA on another successful engagement. #EYCanada #EYParthenon #ShapeTheFutureWithConfidence
