CALIFORNIA GOTHIC AND LOLITA

I'm not sure if the community is all that active anymore, but I figured I would say hi.  Hi!  I'm a resident of Alameda, originally from Colfax, CA.  Moved down to the bay area for school and stayed for the long haul.  I am almost a year into lolita, but am also cripplingly shy.  However, I think I'm finally ready to socialize and be brave enough to meet people!  I hope there are folks around who still get together.  I'm having a tough time finding groups to join up with in person.  If anyone reads this and has any suggestions, I'm more than happy to check out anything I can in the area.  Thanks for your help and I'm happy to meet you all!

I was just wondering if this community is still active? I live in the Bay Area. If anyone is looking for more Lolitas around this area, there's a more active group on FB (I think the link posted here doesn't work). If you live farther out hopefully you can find more friends in your area.

[how did you learn about gothic and lolita?] went on a date that day, while out i pass by a bookstore and decided to stop in. going through many books but only one caught my eye gothic and lolita by Masayuki Yoshinaga, Katsuhiko Ishikawa, Katsuhiko Ishikawa.

Alright so for almost a year now I have been desperate to find some lolitas up in northern california (north of the bay area) and have had no luck, so I created my own Northern California EGL (if that's possible??) Hi! I'm under a year into Lolita and kind of live in the middle of nowhere. I live in Humboldt and I've honestly been able to say that I haven't met any Lolitas up here whether it be online or in person.

Is anybody out there!?!?!

Just wanted to cross post over here in case there is anyone still on Livejournal. We suddenly realized that there were quite a few lolita Halloween meetups being planed this year. So I made a list of all the lolita events taking place this October. Just want to make sure no one gets left out and we all get to pack as much fun into the Halloween season as possible. If there are other Halloween lolita events you want me to add to the list let me know (if you want yours removed, let me know that too).
