Me, writing fic? NEVER! Me, writing Reno introspection in the middle of canon!game!FFVII? SACRILEGE.
Set at the beginning of the game, just after AVALANCHE tries to blow the 5th Reactor and where Cloud ends up doing the Defying Gravity thing by falling from the damned Plate and straight through the roof of Aerith's church. The two naturally start to flirt, right up to the point where they don't seem to notice Reno waiting in the pews...
