on topic of barok and courtney similarities i would also like to mention klint and courtney similarities. both were highly respected in their positions, even to the point where it's unfathomable that they could do anything wrong. they were beloved and admired by a family member who followed their profession, which they subsequently betrayed after being blackmailed to the point of murder (though in klint's case, murder was the blackmail to begin with). main difference, i would say, is that klint kinda just put up with it and continued down his path until he was killed himself, while courtney jumped at the chance to kill her blackmailer and is now serving time for her wrongdoings (less cowardly imo. but im very biased)
