Old vibes

every time the past's awakened, every time my soul starts breaking

I'm having one of those times where I'm really missing some of the people I used to be so close to, both out in the "real" world and online. I'm such a terrible friend, pretty much anyone who's ever been close to me knows that I am absolutely hopeless when it comes to keeping in touch. I don't often call people, or email, or anything, really. The thing is, though, that those that I hold dear, those who mean a lot to me, are always in my heart and on my mind.. I just don't let them know. I'm trying to change that these days, but in doing that I've been realising just how many friendships I've let lapse, not necessarily deliberately, more out of circumstance than anything else. Things happen, and I get caught up in what's going on in my life, and I don't make time for other people.

I'm not sure where I'm going with this post, I think I'm just trying to get it out of my head so that I can sleep tonight.

Anyway, that's all.

PS - Sorry for the emo-ness of this entry, Chris.. sometimes I lapse. I'll return to my normal misanthropic state of mind tomorrow :P
