Went to Parc Safari again on Saturday. Mus loved it! Then off to wing's niece's bday party. She turned 6. Sunday quick clean of house, met Mom at costco, then visited with friends from Australia. Mus got along so well with their kids. They even hugged each other tightly! It felt so busy this weekend!
On IWD, I was listening to the Current, CBC radio show. I listen often, as I find it one of the best radio segments on CBC.
Their IWD segment was really great. If you have time, listen to the debate on the state of feminism and the situation of Chinese mothers. I was infuriated at the first interview with Erin Cordone. I don't believe she is a feminist or liberated whatsoever. With the second interview, I just cried.
I just ordered from FF pizza. Ever since I came to Montreal, I have been searching for good pizza. Cheap pizza is fine, and I will eat when I have no other choice. But, what I am looking for is good quality pizza. You know, when you want to have a savoury pizza that doesn't taste like it is covered in plastic mozzarella.
So far, my hunt has led me to a cheese pie rather than pizza. It was far too heavy and thick. My last order was from FF pizza that had virtually no cheese and a thin, thin bland crust.
Raquel Loyola and Mideo Cruz were Gallery Gachet Artist-in-Residents (Performing Arts) for the month of October. The Filipino community held a month long exhibit called, "Maleta".
