i know i am beating a dead horse but i hatee articles that go "genz are not going to the movies or supporting art/genz is lonelier & more depressed than ever" like yeah. i wonder why. if you want to hang out with your friends outside you HAVE to be prepared to spend money. if you step outside an apartment, it's given you're spending money because there are no third spaces where you can just sit & talk for hours on without shelling out money & upon that EVERYTHING IS FUCKING EXPENSIVE. to be able to afford to go out every week is a privilege at this point. not to mention how gruelling the weeks are, overworking yourself to hold down a midass job is expected if not encouraged. you barely get to see or talk to your loved ones during the week & then weekend rolls around & everybody wants to hang out & have fun but then again every single thing under the sun costs money. it is fucking INSANITY!!!!
