Is anyone planning to have a garage sale in Burbank, sometime in July or early August?
I've got some stuff I'd like to sell in this manner, but I don't have a driveway or yard in which to have my own sale.
I'd be happy to help out at someone else's sale in exchange for letting me put out my own stuff too.
Please send me a private message if interested. Thanks!

I live in Studio City and my apartment building was forced to switch from our awesome cable internet to DSL internet....I know its a terrible thing. So I got AT&T but it is crazy slow. Does anyone know of any quicker, realiable, affordable DSL service in the area. Verizon hasnt spread out to my area yet and that sucks.
Any ideas?
Also, does anyone know how to get my tivo to work with my damn directv. Its a dual tuner Tivo but now since we were forced to switch to directv I can only record 1 channel at a time PLUS I need to watch that channel. Any ideas or am I just screwed? I host a reality show podcast and really need to make sure all of the shows get recorded in a timely manner.
Any ideas on how to get this to work without having to give in an being forced into buying a directv dual tuner DVR? Seriously? can they get any MORE of my money. I hate my apartment building now...if it wasnt such a sweet pad I would be gone by now.
Let me know with any answers or if anyone is interested in getting a beer and talking reality shows/Veronica Mars with my and my boyfriend or are interested in listening to the podcast.
Thanks everyone!

Has anyone else been having trouble with AT&T mobile phones in Burbank lately?
I've always had good reception here, but lately it seems like calls are constantly breaking up or dropping. And it seems unlikely that both of my phones would malfunction like this at the same time.
Anyone else notice a problem?
FREE: 4 thick styrofoam boards, originally used to cushion a large package.
Could be used again for same, or perhaps for model-making. (Any table-top gamers interested?) They are clean, in good shape, and aren't "shedding" pellets.
2 of the sheets are 26.75" long x 10.5" wide x 1.75" thick.
The other 2 sheets are 38" long x 10.55" wide x 1.25" thick.
Already offered on the burbank_glendale Freecycle yahoo group with no takers, so I'll offer here. I'd hate to throw these things in the trash!

Hi, everyone. I'm usually a buffalo_dork, but I'm out on the West Coast visiting. And, I have a problem... My friend got into an accident in Downtown Burbank (which, I've heard, happens often), and we need a recommendation for a collision shop in the area... The ones that were recommended by her insurance company were: Garden(?) Auto Collision in N. Hollywood, Auto Bodycrafters in Glendale, and Quality Body Works also in Glendale. Has anyone had any experience with these shops? Are there any that you folks can recommend?
Also, we're not familiar with how the California traffic law system works. The accident was because we went through a stop sign, so she got a ticket for that. How can she get out of this with the least damage? Just plead guilty and go to traffic school? Any help with this would also be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks a lot for your help.
