I don't actually LIVE in Buffalo...yet. I currently reside in Baltimore where I was born and raised. I met my fiance here while he was working at my University...he got laid off and couldn't afford to live in B'more anymore and went back to his hometown Buffalo. Now we are engaged and I'm finished school. I'm currently trying to locate a full-time job doing web design in the Buffalo region so I can move up there! The people are nice, the city is not scary, and is also easy to get around in (especially for me with no sense of direction whatsoever). Lots to do and see...I still have a lot to learn about the city obviously. We really want to get started there because housing is so much more affordable and you get more bang for your buck (well...except for the high sales tax and higher gas prices). While I can never willingly depart myself from my hometown, I really do love Buffalo. I think the city has a lot of potential to grow and get back on the rise, and I want to be an economical part of helping it get there. Also I'm so tired of explaining to everyone that the weather is not as terrible as everyone seems to think it is. That drives me crazy!

Ok so I have an awesome place you guys should check out. It's this brand new bakery (just built) on Elmwood. It's called De-Lish and it's AMAZING. It's further down, near SpOt and Village Laundry and stuff. Me and my two friends went there just to check it out. We weren't very hungry so we got this Chocolate Raspberry baby-cake to split. We were seriously in heaven. Next time any of you are on Elmwood, look for it! It's amazingly good, and pretty well priced. Some things are a little expensive, but it's definitely worth it.
Well, since I feel left out, I'm going to have an introduction post now! I'm Kasey, your other mod, and I love living in Buffalo! It's aweosme. Even though we're in a economic crisis, it's still an awesome place to live. I love Clay Aiken, as you'll come to know soon. And since he's coming to Darien Lake, which is almost in Buffalo, I'll be posting pictures and fun stuff like that. =D
