Squee and pimping

I used to be thinky about BSG, once upon a time. But the CFS Fairy ran off with my intelligence in the middle of the night. So I offer instead my squee, in the form of a 'synopsis' of "Exodus Part 2" that I just wrote in a comment to karmarama: "...the action just keeps on coming! It's like WHAM! How about them apples, eh? WHAM WHAM WHAM! And your momma too! and then WHAM!! And then some more WHAM!!! Bada bing bang boom WHAM!!!"

I know. Elegant and insightful, yes? \o/

I also came to pimp another comm of squee: frak_spoilers. There's currently a battle for the top episode in full swing, which I probably should have pimped ages ago cos we're already up to round two, but didn't think to. :-/ Come one, come all, join in, stick around for the spoiler-free squee.

Season 2.5 squeeeee

I got an early Christmas present from a good friend: Season 2.5. Wheeeeee!

I've just watched the extended version of Pegasus. You know what really amazes me? That the beginning is still so moving, even when you know what is coming. It still makes me smile, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, when the crews of the two battlestars meet up and there's all the cheering and stuff. It still gives me goosebumps.

You know what amazes me almost as much? How frakking wicked Michelle Forbes' performance is. Admiral Cain gives me nightmares. I just had to turn off Resurrection Ship Part 1 halfway through, it was all just too much after Pegasus. Am I just a big baby, or what? I always find it harder to watch when I have a migraine...
