Bryan is professor of Muggle Studies at L'Academie de Magie, specializing in muggle perception of wizards and magical beings in lore, literature, and popular culture. After attending a northeast wizarding academy, he received a Bachelor's Degree in English from the Muggle university NYU, and a Master in History from Columbia University. His mother, back in NYC, tries to hide her disappointment in his decision to not become a doctor, and to continues to hope that he will someday bring home a nice Jewish girl and settle down. Bryan is a "confirmed bachelor," so she's out of luck.
