Miri stopped eating her food and dropped a bunch of weight (0.75 lbs in six months) which is scary and serious, especially for cats that are older and already having kidney troubles. The vet recommended she get a very expensive scan so we could rule out all kinds of potential issues, including cancer, and also to change up her diet to include a bunch of renal diet foods.

Well, with the addition of the new foods, my finicky feaster is back to cleaning her bowls twice per day and I no longer have to haul Miri to a cat radiologist for a $1000 scan.

One of my favorite parts of houdini is this little white splotch on his pants. It is difficult to photograph without just posting cat bhole and I think he has a right to privacy so that’s against my values. Anyway, I love this little white splotch.
