"Give me my robe, put on my crown..."

Being completely frank, there is nothing new under the sun. Particularly when it comes to voicing one's opinion on the great and mighty burden of the creative process.

But I am a unique and special snowflake - so I have this fresh space for turning over ideas and twittering on about me and my place in the grand scheme of things. I could have done it and have, in my old journal, but it felt crowded and cluttered like a messy desk. It was getting hard to think around the coffee cup rings and cigarette ash over there.

So, if people stumble across this journal by accident, there's small chance of them tripping over my personal/random junk too. Just 100% self-indulgent, random stream of consciousness that revolves around writing - both mine and that of others.

Hopefully, I will upon occasion say something interesting, but I wouldn't put bets on it. That's rather ambitious, imo and here I will be honest with myself. Rather daunting, in light of the fact that I intend for this journal to be primarily public.

Oh well.  I'll finish with an appropriate quote:
