Moving on out
We found our third roomate. Alonge with a fourth and fifth.
I am a little cautions about this move. Greg's brother decided to move into the house, but he wants to bring two of his friends with him. I am a little nervous about what kind of people they might be and those personal intangibles...but my main concern is having 5 people in the house. I see it causing more drama and fights and arguments. More noise...I really dont need more noise.
Zen teaches to enjoy every situation despite its desparity. Confuscious and Buddah would say to ignore such tribulations and focus inwardly on improvment. Taoism would teach to balance the dramatics with the non, and focuse on the postive aspects of having 5 men in a house.
I suppose it will be fun, certainly, 180$ a month rent is a very perferable thing. I suppose we will split grocieries and utiilities and that will accrue to less than 100 a month each.
My dad suggests starting a "house budget" all utitiles and some grocieries *such as sugar, flour, milk ect* are divied up and everyone gets their own specialty items such as cereal.
Ive been talking to Christy every day, I think I am starting to like her, it will be nice when we get to hang out without parents watching over our backs.
Just 2 more weeks...I am so excited
I have been really been getting into philosophy, its such a change of pace from physical science, and its been keeping my brain happy...it got crazy there for awhile, and I still have some trouble with the ADHD, but keeping busy has kept me happy.
I had to work at the Fox Chapel Yaught Club yesterday, we were short on lifeguards. They had a big party there with Bob FM and Mike's Hard promotional people. Mike's Hard had this promotion where if anyone brought an empty bottle of Mike's Hard up to the table, they got a free t-shirt.
I got 2 t-shirts. Gave one to a cute girl at the bar :-p
i had 3 people come up to me as I read my zen book and talk to me about studying Eastern Asian Philosophy. I had a few deep conversations about buddist practices, the teachings of Sun Tzu, and a name of a couple other books I should read and cross-referance.
Its fun to reaserch again...part of me wishes I could talk to Amber about all of this *sigh* I rembmer she picked up the Tao and was reading it alot...at least I got Christy for right now
I still want to see about starting an "E.A.R. club" at CCAC. I was going to call it the "Eastern Asian Religion' club, but I might change 'Religion' to 'Relaxation' so not to scare anyone away. I hope to avoid the religious aspect for now to understand more broadly each practice and take bits and pieces from each.
Thats about it for now, things are winding down with work, I have to start getting ready for school. Turns out CCAC compleatly wiped out my class schedule for some reason. I hate that school's administration, they fuck my shit up so much, it becomes quite frustrating.
