I've taken the liberty of starting a cataloguing of our encounters with the cavernous maws and the past.

As I am sure you all know, I have not been doing much lately! It is kind of embarrassing, really. Let's not talk about it.

BECAUSE NOW I AM DOING THINGS which is infinitely superior to that other thing we're not talking about.

THING: I have a new (well, it is not even remoely new anymore, but I have not mentioned it here yet!) linkshell! IT IS FULL OF AWESOME PEOPLE AND WE DO AWESOME THINGS. Sometimes, anyway. Not always.

Sooo, anyway, after ending my, um, vacation, sure, let's call it a vacation, the other day, I DID THINGS.

Also, I have been working on my summoning skills, and I still totally suck (NO ONE IS SURPRISED) but! The Moogles taught me the cool "drop a chicobo on someone's head" trick, anyway! So that's awesome.

Why does everyone and their wyvern call it the Starlight Festival when it's official name is the Starlight Celebration?


I mean, I don't think we can blame this on a name-change like we do with Summerfest/Sunbreeze thing. Can we?


YOU JUST HAVE TO ADMIT IT IS KIND OF ODD, IS ALL. No one calls it a celebration! (GO ON: NAME ONE PERSON. I challenge you!)

I've been out learning some of those fun new tricks... Some of them are kinda weird! I do not get the Ninja technique. I mean - I get it, I can do it, but I don't get the point of it. Frogs? Why?

THEY ARE TOTALLY FUN. And I definitely need to work on figuring out the rest of them, because whee! And also the thing you get for completing the trial for it all isn't too terrible, either.

Guys! Guuuuyyyyssss.

TODAY. Marks the seventh anniversary of my becoming an Adventurer! (Whaaat, that is so long, wow. That is... a lot. I don't even know what that is. Less than half my life, anyway!)


I want to do something, but I do not know what. Go somewhere, maybe? I dunno! WHO HAS A SUGGESTION? Help me out or something. (What, you think just because I've been here for ever means I have any idea of what to do now? Do not be silly!

... Unless you're Ki, I mean, in which case there's not really much helping it BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN don't pretend you don't.)

SO THAT WAS THE GREAT VOLCANO ADVENTURE.

... V.2.0 because I'd already been in there earlier looking for a coffer. Ugh, Ifrit's Cauldron, why. SO MISERABLE. SO SCARY.

(But at least we don't need ice clusters to stop fire walls to get to the altar, anyway! Those are intense. @_@)

Remember how it was so hot? AND MISERABLE?! And how I melted into a puddle and Ki poked me? Well, after that, I went on an ~adventure~ and it was awesome and also cold.

BUT WE ALL MADE IT HOME ALIVE HOORAY and with a map extra hooray. And the heat seems to have broken a bit since I went and froze my tail off! Ooorrrrr maybe I am just still frozen. Either way: less hot, so who cares?
