be ill, and then learning what had happened.... I didn't understand. Still don't. How someone or a group felt they had a right to do that. To steal peoples lives and futures from kids who must have been terrified.
I also remember the pride afterwards when my countrymen stood up as one.
Probably our Pembroke Wesh Corgi, Nala. ^^ She was a character and example to any of us of the smaller stature. Didn't matter if it was a Yorkishire Terrier or my sister's Rottweiler, you were in her domain, you played by her rules. XDDDD
I think that friends/family deserve second chances... depending on the circumstances. Obviously lying and trying to steal away significant others should never be excused or forgiven... nor should intended or actual bodily harm.
For romantic partners... again. If they're abusive in some manner, if they run around behind your back with someone. NO second chance, least of all as a partner. They've shown them selves to be not worth the honor. Otherwise... give it a shot!
ByTheCards: granted he was all "And I'm blind. And my world was attacked by demons. And an hour ago my best friend died and got eaten by an amulet. And now I'm suddenly here" Frenchiegurl03: >> Damn. Frenchiegurl03: Sounds like the beginning of Sci-Fi Country Western song! ByTheCards: XD Frenchiegurl03: Dude! Tell me that's not so! ByTheCards: "And baby don't touch that Am-yu-let, cause ya know know if you do, Fer the rest of yer days that amulet gonna be stuck tight on you~" ByTheCards: XD Frenchiegurl03: XDDDD
Alright my lovelies! In honor or my 25th b-day, I would like everyone availible to meet at the Seattle Repetory Theater at about 12, so we can rummage the sale they're having followed by a picnic lunch at the Arboretum or wherever else we feel like. After that... we'll see what we all want to do!
Our Corgi, Nala, passed away today, after battling for over a year with a genetic disorder that left her a quadriplegic. She'd have been 13 in October. She survived an abusive home, several dogfights with my sister's Rottweiler, and many family trips. Nala was both our little terror and our darling.
Been so long since I posted, I figured I better put something up! Thigns are going.... oaky. Heather's moved out, and I've got my room back which kicks so much butt. I'm making money again, thank goodness. But I wonder how I'm doing. I know I'm doing satisfactorily, but the manager keep having to point stuff out, and she doesn't let me have any prep time, and I NEED at least a little prep time for the amounts of boxes, especially the 100+ clamshells I do per week...
Pretty sure I'll be taking online courses this summer through Central. Trying to figure out what I want to do with my life, it's proving... hard. Anyway, hope everything is okay with people, I promise I'm fine. ^^ Drop me a note, I do so love them. ^^
