I was born a wanderer without a home town which is how I fell in love with books. Moving a lot growing up I often went without friends outside my family for months at a time. My books were, and still are, my constant and faithful companions.
I have moved an average of every 3 years my entire life. The shortest time I have spent in a city is 2 years, the longest was 5. I have lived in 3 different countries (including the U.S.) and within the U.S. I have lived in 6 different states (8 different cities).
I am married to a fantastic man who does not mind my obsession with books and contributes his hard earned money to buying me more. I have two children whom I homeschool. Spare time is not an abundant commodity for me. Most of it is spent reading. I enjoy baking and also sometimes find time to knit. But mostly it's just reading.
