For those of you with android devices, you can use the Android Debug Bridge (ADB) standalone app control program to get rid of all the bloatware, data mining, and AI crap - no coding needed!

There are also Android-based alternatives like GrapheneOS and LineageOS, which are pretty easy to install. These are unfortunately available for a more limited range of devices (Graphene is ironically Pixel only, while Lineage supports more), but it's very worth checking out whether one of them might work for your phone.
Typing this from Graphene now, in fact. But, both of those take the Android Open Source Project, without all the bloatware--and largely de-Google the whole thing. They give you much more control over privacy and what the apps you choose to install can do and access on your phone.
I know Graphene sandboxes everything, including the optionally installed Google Play Services which a lot of apps unfortunately require to run. (Lineage uses an alternative to Play Services instead.) So, you can install what would normally be unacceptably intrusive apps and just lock them away from pulling any funny shit with your data, or phoning home. Including the couple of Google things I do still keep around.
I also prefer running much more transparent, privacy-respecting open source apps where possible. Besides the transparency, I'd rather avoid the shitty tech corps entirely where I can. There are pretty good alternatives available for a lot of the usual suspects.

Also just going to leave this here.
This lets you pretty easily patch some of the worst offender corporate apps to make them behave better.
The small voice in your head that says: "I don't need to write down every small detail of this plot idea, I love it so much, I'll remember this."
That's the devil speaking.
That rabbit/hare post is messing me up. I’d thought they were synonyms. Their development and social behavior are all different. They can’t even interbreed. They don’t have the same number of chromosomes. Dogs, wolves, jackals, and coyotes can mate with each other and have fertile offspring but rabbits and hares cant even make infertile ones bc they just die in the womb. Wack.
The problem is perspective. People always think dogs are the ‘standard’ animal, the metric to use for whether or not two organisms “look like” they’re related. When in fact they’re a massive outlier due to the fact that we fucked up this lineage of wolf beyond recognition with selective breeding. It’s why people always say “breed” when they mean “species”, especially when talking about groups like lizards which can’t even be defined cladistically since some of them are closer to snakes than each other. To say nothing of fish.
I once read an article that emphasized there is no such thing as a fish. Sharks and rays, lamprey, lobe-finned fish like lungfish and coelacanth, bichir and sturgeon, and of course the multiple infraclasses of more “modern” fish groups are all only very distantly related to one another. They’ve maintained semi-similar body structures only because there are limited ways to efficiently move through water as a vertebrate.
This

And this

Are more distantly related from one another than you and I are from a lungfish

Which is absolutely fuckin wild.
Not only that, but all of us air-breathing land vertebrates, all the lizards and chickens and people and frogs, are closer to one another than those three “fish” are to one another as well.
Ok I tried this and it was a HUGE hit!
Main recommendations: Season the dough AND season the filling. Also, make smaller loafs, about the size of a spatula head, for easy flipping!
Here’s how they look! Recipe below (doubled bc I have a big family).
Loaded Potato Loafs
- Poke holes in and boil 6 large potatoes until soft
- Peel potatoes (do this after boiling to retain nutrients and get the texture needed for the dough)
- Mash into a smooth puree
- Add 4 tablespoons of melted butter
- Add 10 tablespoons of flour
- Add a bit of pepper and a good amount of garlic salt
- Mix until it forms a soft dough
- Lay out plastic wrap and grease with a little oil
- Place 1/8 of the dough into the plastic wrap and flatten it into a round shape
- Add shredded cheese, shredded chicken, bacon bits, more garlic salt, chives, and Italian seasoning.
- Grab the plastic wrap and use it to fold each edge of the dough over, starting with parallel ends. Make sure the dough is sealed all over and doesn’t break. It should be about the size of a spatula head for easy flipping.
- Airfry two at a time. Fry one side at 450 degrees for 7 minutes
- Flip with spatula and airfry other side for another 7 minutes
- ALLOW TO COOL BEFORE EATING
🥔 picture perfect babey🥔
Couple of notes:
- Season the shit outta this thang
- Like it’s actually fucking crazy that neither cook in the video mentions seasoning 🤨
- Don’t overstuff with fillings if you’re frying in oil bc it might lose structural integrity and fall apart on the flip
- I filled mine with just cheese and hot dog bits (it’s what was immediately available and I’m lazy) and topped it with some ketchup + mustard to go with the hot dog theme
- It was bomb as fuck chef kiss 😚👌💋
- I’ll definitely be making again and trying new fillings; this recipe is pretty much endlessly customizable
