My mother works at a hotel and there was a convention for authors, publishers and distributors. My mother worked the banquet for it that night. The following night my mom was doing her usual Room Service job and after delivering an order to a distributor she wound up with some books! The lady said she had no space for them in her bags so she was giving them away.

Each book is signed by the author. --ok so MOST books are signed as I am finding out-- I am willing to give them away. Free. I don't want a single penny. The only thing I ask, is that you pay postage. I work at Mcdonalds and my child's deadbeat father refuses to pay any child support so I am a little strapped.

"A Companion to Wolves", Elizabeth Bear and Sarah Monette. Mass market paperback, good condition with a little bit of wear (from riding around in my book bag). Great world building with an interesting look at gender roles in an all-male community.

I just received Moon Called by Patricia Briggs today from phantomminuet . Shipping was so quick I didn’t even expect it today and actually handed the package containing it to my boyfriend thinking it was his overdue b-day gift lol. Book was in the condition described and even contained a nice note. Thank you! Your book is on its way and I hope you receive it shortly! I cannot wait to start reading mine ^.^

I'll try to keep an eagle eye out for it, but if you should spot a post from one of those Russian porn bots on the community, just send me a heads up via LJ message, and I'll take care of it.

Getting rid of a bunch of books I have never read or do not see myself reading ever again to make room for new books on my shelf. A fair few of them I received as door prizes at different events at local book stores but never really had any interest in reading.
