Anyway. If any of you are interested and have the time (five minutes, tops):

The following survey is open for all fans who participate in some way in a band fiction community (you write, you read, run a community, etc.) I don't care if it's rockband fic, emo-band fic, popslash, whatever--all of your input is desired. If you don't understand a question or terminology, don't stop or feel like you have to look stuff up--I want your first impressions, how you would answer these questions based on your familiarity with these terms and ideas now.

The results of this survey work, when completed, will be posted to fanthropology. Thank you for taking the time to complete it. It was simply written--by me [sidewinder] with the input of several other folks on wording--out of curiosity based on recent discussions and is not "sponsored" or being run officially by any particular communitiy or group.

Rockfic Press is looking for short stories about hair metal bands (Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Cinderella, Poison, Ratt, The Runaways, Vixen, etc.) for an upcoming anthology.

Slash, het, and gen stories of up to 7500 words (moderately negotiable - by that I mean if it really rocks, there's a leeway of probably about 200 words) are welcome.

Crossovers are acceptable as long as a hair metal band member has a significant role.

Submit stories one at a time (meaning send one and wait for a response before sending more, not "send ten at once but in ten separate e-mails) in rtf or txt format to heidizzle@gmail.com. You can also direct any and all questions to that address.

Deadline for submissions is March 31st. If you are unable to meet that deadline for any reason, but are interested in submitting work, get in touch with me and we'll see if we can work something out.

The newest anthology from RockFic Press, Get Bent - a collection of "seduction of a straight man" stories - features "Shut Up and Kiss Me", a David Bryan/Tico Torres fic.

One anthology, Road Hazards, available from the RockFic Press Store, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble, contains "Stand Up" starring Bon Jovi (specifically, David/Alec).

Welcome my Slashers!!!

This community is under construction at the moment, but that doesnt mean you cant write stories and stuff!!!! Go right ahead. This community should be up and running really soon!!!! I just need to do a bit of tweaking on the layout and stuff and get an icon and new members!!!!
