procrastination

So I haven't updated in forever, but who cares? I'm currently procrastinating my boots off here. Yes I am supposed to be working on my 5000 word Historiography essay, or alternatively getting some sleep since its half two in the morning right now. Frankly, though, I'm too obsessed with LotR right now to care. It has come to my attention that Aragorn is my all time favourite character.. yum lol

Have been doing some quizzes on Arwen Undomiel.com and have had these results:

I am this race:

I'm a Hobbit!

Though technically not your own race, you represent what's most enjoyable and best in the Lord of the Rings world. Your love, spirit and selflessness are unsurpassed among your Middle Earth brethren.

Which Lord of the Rings race are you?

Take Other Caffeine Nebula Quizzes

Very unsuprising. Deep down we'd all like to be a graceful beautiful Elf, but lets face it... I'm not. I can definitely see me as a Hobbit.

I am this character:

I'm Peregrin 'Pippin' Took!

Troublemaking and scheming, cheerful and curious, you're Peregrin Took, more often known as Pippin!

"But the dear silly old hobbit, he ought to know that he hasn't got to ask. He ought to know that if we can't stop him, we shan't leave him."

Which hobbit in the fellowship of the Ring are you?

rather glad I'm not Aragorn or I'd be fancying myself..scary

I am this piece of jewelry:

What Piece of LotR Jewelry Are You?

Woo I'm pretty

My alternative amusing quiz LotR character is:

Which LOTR Character Are You?

Eowyn-you are one tuff girl! Not only are you pretty, but you are a great warrior! All I can say is-YOU RULE GIRL!

Yes, there was a question which involved pie as the answer... naturally I chose that. I'm not as kickass as Eowyn but on the plus side she flirts with Aragorn and gets Faramir. Lucky bitch!

His Dark Materials

I did a his dark materials test to see what my daemon would be. Personally I would prefer him to be a cat but that was not to be. Mine is:

Hare Daemon
Your HARE DAEMON represents your passive,

kindhearted, and honorable nature. Though you

are occasionally shy with new people, friends

admire your unshakable tranquility, even in

the face of chaos.

Sad :(

Found out today that my nan had a serious stroke last night. My mum rang today and told me, feel rather upset, mum said she was in a stable condition, she was awake but since the stroke has affected her right side it has affected her speech so she can't talk. the doctors say that of the two kinds of stoke you can have, the blockage and the bleeding, she the 'better' one (the blockage) which is the one most people can recover from. It takes a long time though and my nan is almost 79, so age is working against her.

It's such a terrible thing to happen because my nan is such an independant lady, and we all worry about my grandad being able to cope on his own; his eyesight is failing and he is 82 next month. They have been married almost 60 years...

All my thoughts and love are with them both tonight. xxx
