About the Project

Engaging DoxyPEP in Scotland is a multi-stage research and community impact project led by Dr Chase Ledin in Edinburgh Medical School.

This project explores biosocial aspects of antimicrobial resistance and stewardship within genitourinary medicine (GUM), sexual health promotion, and community settings. This work interrogates the role of AMR stewardship as integral to effective harm reduction strategies and paradigms within sexual health and wellbeing. This project utilises principles of co-construction and participatory research to reimagine the conditions and possibilities of AMR education for sexual communities.
