“Living weapon” covers a lot and all of it is hot
“stabbing crying killing hot” has a fantastic ring to it
I'm probably gonna get yelled at for saying this but sometimes something isn't a real problem in fandom, you just learned a Japanese word describing a general fandom practice and got scared and decided it meant "The Bad Ones" of that practice
Whenever you see someone being like "we don't mind when women enjoy or even create m/m content, we just hate fujoshis" you are being racist. If you mean "I hate the way some female fans treat gay men like fetish objects" then say that, and we can have a conversation based on that, but "fujoshi" is, I cannot stress this enough, just a word for any woman who likes M/M content, for better or worse. It may have started out as a reclaimed insult (by the way, the insult was based on "liking gay shit makes you perverted and sinful," not "please respect the humanity of gay men") but it does not make a distinction between The Good Ones and The Bad Ones. You just decided to No True Scotsman it and that the English word for that should describe The Good Ones and the Japanese word for it should describe The Bad Ones
Same goes for the people I saw just the other day whose discord server explicitly disallowed "Yaoi" but said that M/M content was allowed. What they meant was "M/M content is allowed as long as it isn't pornographic and fetishistic." What they actually said was "M/M content is allowed, but M/M content is strictly forbidden," and expected you to understand that the Japan-Adjacent term has porn/fetish connotations while the English-language term for THE SAME THING refers to the "normal, non-perverted" version.
It'd be like if you used the word "cartoons" to refer to all Family-Friendly animation, regardless of style or country of origin, whether it's Japanese or American or French or whatever, and used the term "anime" to refer to all animated pornography regardless of style or country of origin. There's plenty of animated pornography that isn't Japanese! There's plenty of anime that's not pornographic! But this is the sort of thing you do when you say shit like "obviously women can read stories about gay men, but NO FUJOSHIS"
OP is correct and smart for saying this. this is related to/a subset of how people are about non-fandom foreign words, too, like how people say "Christians worship God (good), Muslims worship Allah (bad and scary)" when gues swh. gu. guess what. gues s w hat Allah mea. guess what the word "Allah" means--!!
Fr, every time I see that I got a message or my activity got a notification my face lights up

I need everyone to update their mental image of the "gender spectrum" because I cannot keep dealing with discourse from people who imagine it as a literal straight line from Girl to Boy and moving away from Girl automatically puts you closer to Boy and moving away from Boy automatically puts you closer to Girl. because as long as this is how we're conceptualizing gender we're just going to keep binarizing people as Basically a Girl or Basically a Boy. people keep saying "we need to deconstruct the binary but we have to be careful to not create a strict trinary either" which is obviously correct but then people get worried about doing anything that might create or reinforce a trinary so they avoid using language designed for non-binary people (or even openly mock it) and as a result barely anybody actually deconstructs the goddamn binary!!!!! they just start sorting everybody into both preexisting mental categories with a little less focus on what's in their pants (sometimes) and tell themselves they're not still being transphobic and gender essentialist because their brain boxes are totally hashtag #woke #inclusive #diverse
consider a scenecore girl who is also a sparkledog werewolf...
sorry if this is a stupid and/or weird question but your response to that anon talking about people experiencing orgasms during childbirth made me wonder if there's a certain point in development after which it'd be weird for pregnant people to have sex or masturbate, since after a certain point the fetus(?) can hear? like, should people do it quietly or does it just not really matter? sorry again but i am genuinely clueless
should. should pregnant people have sex quietly so their baby doesn't hear?
okay even assuming your unborn child can hear you fucking. it's like having sex in front of your stuffed animals or your dog, dude. they have absolutely no understand of what is going on. they don't give a shit. at no point is any person who has ever or will ever be born going to go "oooooh man I think hearing my parents fuck while I was in utero really fucked me up actually" that's not how anything works. they're too busy going "mmm yummy amniotic fluid" they do not know or care that sex is happening
I swear this is a consequence of the "life begins at conception" propaganda. Combined with the recurrent moral panic about "protecting children" (from knowledge).
Absolutely rancid combination of Christian morality with Christian morality.
I'm sad to say that the rise of fascism has been visible in my inbox for years as people become increasingly distrustful of their own bodies and pleasure. you see it in people's paranoia around becoming "porn addicts," their need for reassurance that a 24 year old isn't a predator for dating a 22 year old, their fears that they may have unwittingly committed assault by looking at another child's naked body when they were young, their insistence that consensual sex is impossible for anyone who has had a single drink or smoked a whiff of weed. people, especially young people, are doing a tremendous amount of work for fascism in terms of rigorously policing their own bodies and sexual expression, and they often don't even realize it.
this dogshit website is nothing without trans women
just saw a video of people playing spin the bottle with a hitachi wand and the spinner getting 60 seconds with whoever it landed on and you know what

Handler training her Hound to resist interrogation, part 2 part 1 Thirty centimeters of razor sharp steel reflects the harsh white of the ceiling lights. The Handler brandishes her knife, holds it terrifyingly close, tip first, to the Hound's face. The Hound does not balk, despite the fact that a single errant thrust from its Handler would gouge out an eye. "You're disappointing me, dog. Why can't you just make this easy for both of us? I'm going to have to hurt you now," the Handler says, cold as the metal in her hands. "You can't break me," the Hound declares, almost smug. "Handler has trained me too well." "Handler this, Handler that, don't you ever have a single thought of your own?" she sighs in response. She drags the tip of the knife down the side of the Hound's cheek, hard enough to break skin and leave a thin cut trailing down from eye to chin. Immediately, the once pure metal is stained a dark crimson by the Hound's blood. The Hound winces, the stinging sharp, but it is nothing that it cannot overcome. "Damn mutt, you've dirtied my knife," growls the Handler. She thrusts a hand forward and grabs at the Hound's jaw, forcing it wide open. The Hound barely resists, caught off guard entirely. "Fucking clean it." "Wha-" the Hound begins, before the knife is shoved inside her mouth. Immediately, its eyes are wide and its heart rate has tripled. One wrong move, one errant twitch of a muscle from either of them, and the inside of the Hound's mouth would be lacerated. Its body is pumping adrenaline through its veins, equal parts excited and terrified. "Lick. It. Clean," Handler snarls, almost animalistic with her anger. The Hound obeys, in part because it is unsure how this could result in it losing the exercise, but also because it yearns to please. It could not stop itself even if it tried. Gently at first, but with growing enthusiasm, it laps at its own blood covering the knife, making it slick with spit to ensure it is without blemish. The taste is sweet and sharp and wonderful on its tongue. Fear fades rapidly. It is beginning to understand. The knife is dangerous, yet intimate. It promises closeness and pain, but nothing so merciful as a swift death. A handgun shoved inside its mouth would be meaningless in comparison. A pull of the trigger promises an immediate release from it all, yet a mistake here means a grueling, agonising punishment. The Hound would not make a mistake. It had been trained to perfection. Herein lies the lesson. All of the pain, all of the danger, every possible threat, it can only make the Hound recall the loving care and attention of its Handler in this moment.
The grip on its jaw clamps harder and the knife is tilted upwards, threatening to stab into the roof of its mouth. The length of the blade clacks off of the Hound's teeth. "Be a good dog. Give in. Tell me what I want to know, and all of this can come to an end," the Handler promises. But the Hound has come to love this intimacy and so will never give in.
I love being friends with prostitutes and transsexuals and artists and drug dealers and perverts and queers
fundamental to understanding anti-transmasculinity to me (and to the project of making the force of transmasculine erasure visible so it can be challenged) is understanding that much punishing of masculine children seen as girls can happen under "normal" misogyny (i.e father/husband control over daughter/wife's body and sexuality), and often in private. the idea that anti-transmasculinity is less prevalent because its less obvious and visible in society is fundamentally not different from the same arguments made about lesbophobia and gayphobia, and i think the same explanation applies there.
& also i think there could also be the influence of anti-transfemininity and gayphobia being often policed within masculinized spaces, which are also more likely to be public and centered in culture. whereas the culture and dynamics of feminized spaces, amongst people classed as women, are more subcultural and less visible. this means that the kinds of inter-group gender policing that happen in these spaces is also less visible and less discussed and in some ways, i think, less interesting, in the way certain feminized experiences are seen as less interesting. see conversations around how girl-on-girl bullying is often more insidious, more subtle and verbal and less explicitly brutal. yet, just because boy-on-boy bullying is more likely to be consistently obvious and physical, does not mean that girl-on-girl bullying is actually more tame, because it can be viscous and profoundly physical. going back to ATM, in the book Hung Jury: Testimonies of Genital Surgery by Transsexual Men, Nickolas J. McDaniel shares an experience that illustrates how girl-on-girl bullying can include violent sexual assault: he was gang-raped by seven or eight cis girl classmates in his high school girl's locker room to "teach it [me] to like being a female." this kind of violence, again, often happens in private, and the perpetrators can hide behind benevolent misogyny and politeness to help obscure the extent of their cruelty.
