Writer's Block: Going down

viva_para_dios
Going down
You're on a crashing plane and your partner is fast asleep. Would you wake her/him up to say 'I love you' one last time or let her/him die in her/his sleep?
Reply 968

I'd be jumping over them to get to the parachute first.

Writer's Block: Take my advice

forecastisrayne
Take my advice
What's the best and worst advice you ever received? Did you follow it even if it ran counter to your gut intuition? How did it turn out?
Reply 205

Get over it. When it's not something you can just get over but needs time and help.

Writer's Block: Do you peek?

Peek-a-boo, what to do?
If your friend or partner left his or her email open, would you look? How about a journal? Have you ever peeked at something private?
Reply 332
I once picked a friend's diary lock just to show her how easy it was, but I didn't read anything. I remember her telling me her mum did, though.

Writer's Block: Apology Not Accepted

Apology Not Accepted
Have you ever refused to accept someone's apology, or had your own apology rejected?
Reply 198
If I've refused to accept someone's apology it's because I knew it was false.

Writer's Block: Look at Me/Don't Look at Me

novarr
Look at Me/Don't Look at Me
Do you seek attention or hide from it?
Reply 243
Hide.

I hate being put on the spot, I can never think of what to say to strangers.

Writer's Block: Historian's Choice

Historian's Choice
If you could live in any era of history, which one would you choose?
Reply 222
That's a tough one. I think I'd like to experience them all as long as I could eventually leave. I'd definitely want to experience the Medieval Era.

Writer's Block: Be Prepared

Bedside Manners
Hospital dramas are a time-honored staple of television, from General Hospital to County General to Seattle Grace. Which TV hospital would you most want to check in to? And who would be your doctor?
Reply 198
Yes; I have a list of my books so that I can replace them if they are destroyed.

Writer's Block: Creepy Crawlies

Makeover! Or: Creepy Crawlies
If you had the chance to go crazy and completely overhaul your appearance, what would you do? Or: Recount a remarkable incident involving insects.
Reply 243
My friend and I once performed a cesarean on a snail when we were kids. What we thought was a baby was probably its stomach.

You know what? You are exactly right. I don't have a problem with the concept itself really, but to fork out thousands of dollars (or pounds in your case I think) for something that nobody even…

    Old age and Death
Hmm, my great-grandma got a kick out of the newspaper obituary section. She liked to chortle about whom she had outlived! There are ups and downs to being old, I suppose. :)
