So all the posts I have written about LA haven't happened. But it's official. I have an apartment, I have a spot in the class, and I have a plane ticket. This upcoming Monday I will be leaving for 5 months to attend school. I am growing up and it scares the shit out of me and makes me extremely emotional. As much as I hated highschool, I would love to go back to being 13....
I haven't written here in a while, but it hasn't been as long as I thought. It says my last update was in the beginning of March and I had a job interview at Whole Foods. Well about that, I didn't get the job...I actually told them no. I felt really stupid for it because I really needed a job, but I didn't want to work with meat all day; that's just gross.
The beginning of this month was Tyler's birthday and I got him a long board. He seemed to love it, which made me happy because he means the world to me.
Last Friday I had another job interview at ShopRite. I got the job and it's for a position in the bakery, not a lame cashier. I start this coming Monday and I'm glad I finally got a job.
Also this past Sunday a got a baby 6 week old kitten. He is the cutest thing in the world and I love him. He's all black and has a white patch on his stomach; His name is Dracula. Hehe.
But yeah, I guess that's it. I just feel so blaaaah lately. I feel like the only person who actually likes being around me is Tyler. All my "friends" are like bitches and fake. They'll chill with me and just give me straight up attitude all the time. And then sometimes, when they actually have something to do and don't need to use me for a place to chill, they won't even invite me. It's annoying and I think it'll all be done with soon. Whatever.
Life has been alright. I haven't really been doing much lately. Still looking for a job. I had an interview at Whole Foods yesterday that went well, I think. But now really thinking about it, I'd rather just work in retail at a mall again. But at this point, I'll work anywhere.
A lot of things have gone on since then, I guess you can say. My boyfriend basically lives with me now and I love it. I get to see him everyday and she sleep here everyday; I feel like I'm married, haha.
Last month I had to put my favorite cat, Salem to sleep. It was one of the hardest things I had to go through. So I won't get into much detail about it or I'll start crying.
Lastly, I dropped outta beauty school. I couldn't do it anymore, I started to absolutely hate it. It just wasn't for me. I wanna be a make up artist, not a hair cutter. So I'm pretty fucked right now and need to find a job as soon as possible. I won't be starting a make up academy until late spring. So yeah, that's it for now.
Merry belated Christmas!! Sorry, I've been pretty busy since I've last updated this. Christmas was great; I got some pretty awesome stuff.
I've been spending a lot of time with my boyfriend, who I'm not sick of at all yet, which is something new. I usually get sick of people easily, but not him.
There was a huge blizzard on Sunday night and got snowed in. So school was cancelled on Monday and Tuesday. Now I have to go back tomorrow :( Oh well, it was a nice little break.
Tomorrow I AM going Christmas shopping...after I pick Rae up from the air port with Sean. I made a list the other night so I am pretty much set, just have to torture myself by going to the mall..
Tonight I saw The Last 3 Hours with a bunch of people, which was actually really, really good. I also skipped school today, which I am not proud of. My school is based on hours and I missed today and last Friday. So I need to make up 12 hours. Saturdays I can make up 6, but I really don't want to wake up on Saturday morning and put on my uniform...ugh. It's going alright, though. This is my last week with hair, in the core program. So yeah, the rest of this week will be a drag, but I am looking forward to next week.
Life has been pretty good. It's already December so that means I have a lot of shopping to do. This week I think we're picking our secret santas so I'll see who I get...I also have to get my boyfriend a gift and I have nooo idea what to get him.. I'll figure something out.
School has been going well. I skipped on Friday because I had the worst cramps and way too tired and now I have to make up 6 hours, probably on Wednesday. We're almost done with learning the basics of hair, which is great because I suck at doing hair. Next week I think we're going into starting to learn the basics of manicure, which I'm really excited about.
Wow, haven't posted anything in a while. November went by way too fast, but that's alright because I always felt like November was a boring month.
I started school last Monday, which I love and hate. We are learning hair right now, which sucks, because I am horrible at hair and I wanna just skip over to make-up already. Another bad thing is, I wake up around 7:30 so I can leave by 8:30 to get there at 9, which is when class starts. Besides those 2 things, I love school. I am motivated to wake up every morning because I wanna learn the stuff.
I had a great Thanksgiving as well. I had off from school on Thursday and Friday, so that was kind of cool. I went to Brooklyn with my mom and aunt to a homeless shelter to celebrate with people who have almost nothing, it was nice. The rest of the weekend and mini break, I spent with my boyfriend and friends. But back to school tomorrow.
So November is almost over, that means Christmas time. I usually hate Christmas time because of the weather and whatnot, but this year I'm kind of excited. It doesn't feel like it's that time yet because time is going by so quickly, but that's okay. So yeah, that's really it. I've been very busy with school and spending time with the boyfriend, but it's all good.
I'm due of an update. So last Friday I got tattooed by Lars Frederiksen and it was absolutely great; I love my tattoo! He was such a sweet guy and he loved my Rancid tattoo. Saturday I had a little party at the house with a few friends and it was fun. I was mad drunk and I missed being drunk.
This week was pretty successful. I enrolled at Parisian Beauty Academy and I have orientation on the 18 and start full time on the 22. I am actually really excited for it to start.
Tonight I'm going to a nice hotel with Tyler, Brit, Julie, Nik, and Randy. It should be fun.
