May 2026 Update
Hello,
As no doubt you are aware, if you frequent BS01 enough, we've been having server issues off-and-on for the past few months. Turns out, these are AI scrapers gathering anything that isn't nailed down from the server, and hostile ones at that. As of last check, we had no less than 60 different IPs (all blocked now) trying to gain access per second. Measures have finally been taken to deal with these bots, and now we are running (honest estimate) 98% operational. Site is snappy and Random Page loads within milliseconds on a decent connection, which is nice.
As part of the measures, anonymously signed out users may note certain pages are no longer accessible, such as the Recent Changes. This is a tradeoff to combat the bots trying to download every variable in the Recent Changes page, including x number of days back, x amount of edits, so on and so forth. If you have any major issues seeing any of these pages logged in, please let us know via Talk:Main Page or in Swert's talk page or MtMNC's. This message will likely stay up for another month, then maybe a new poll will be added, who knows. Go watch 810NICLE Day this August.
