So, we moved again back in March.Our last house flooded like a mother fucker during the rains,so I was looking for a new place when my luck turned good and a good friend called and asked if I wanted to rent his house about 10 blocks from where I was living.
I had been ther before, and knew how nice it was so I figured he would want more than I wanted to pay for rent. Turns out, I got the place for 50 bucks less a month than what I was paying.......Two story, 3 bedrooms & tricked out ironing/storage room,2 full living rooms and a fire place upstairs. Nice, private, secure, and built to American codes with American materias.

My oldest son, Chris, bought a 2001 Honda CIVIC that he lets his mom use when he is too lazy to take her where she wants to go.
Last month, he invited his mom and two younger brothers to have tacos in Rosarito, and they got caught in the middle of a drug cartel hit. They rammed a full sized Dodge 4 door pick up into his car with two other vehicles, then gunned the driver of the pick-up down with 9mm hand guns and fully automatic AK-47's. Luckily, no one in his car was hurt, but it cost him over a thousand bucks to get his ride fixed.

Tijuana has been hit hard by the violence of the drug war here. The affects of the global economy are secondary here.
