Bullying is crazy... I spent 13 years of my life forced to be at a certain location for 6+ hours almost every day, and at this location multiple of my peers would verbally harass or insult me, physically assault me, sexually harass me, socially ostracize me, every single day, for factors entirely outside of my control. And every adult who was ostensibly supposed to prevent this from happening either willfully ignored it or actively contributed to the bullying. And like, I'm supposed to just brush it off as "just bullying" and something that everyone goes through? So certain decisions I made very early on when I started this Sonic model have been bothering the fuck out of me for a while, and I've decided to finally go over it one more time and rectify them
There's nothing wrong with the design, my problems now just stem from the head and body being separate meshes, the mismatch of 3D and 2D spines and 3D and 2D hair, also the rig is very rough
So I took the model as-is and touched up the things I listed, then I used that edited mesh as a base to make a new more optimized one on top of it, maybe make some more smaller changes along the way
doesn't look terrible with separated movie eyes imo
all im gonna say is with all the added detail, the mono eye can really start to look out of place
