Title: Slide off the Moon
Chapter: Chapter 1
Warnings: minor violence
Notes: the first chapter, also rewritten from the original (which was never finished, so there are no links to it anywhere on the web. XD), although the happenings from Valafar's arrival in Alda and beyond are very different than they were in the original. I like them more. much, much more. *shakes head* all changes recommended by the critiques I received in class have been applied as I saw fit, as well as a few changes I made on my own.
Summary: subject to future change. Valafar has dedicated his whole life to his god. He loves him like he has loved no other.

And he has decided to free him from his eternal prison on the moon.

What he doesn’t know is that doing so would release a power more destructive than he could imagine. Satarel, God of Death and the Moon, was imprisoned on the moon over a millennium ago after a battle with his twin brother Nemamiah.

And upon his release he would immediately hunt down his brother to exact his revenge.

For what better vengeance could there be than to have his brother under his control for all eternity?

Notes: TOTALLY rewritten from the original, which will never, ever, ever be posted on the internet. ever. although if you're really curious you could go see it here. x_x it was actually rewritten so that I could turn it in as part of my second story for my Writing Fiction class, but I would have gotten around to it eventually.
