merlin_muses, a community focused on inspiring Merlin fanworks, is hosting Round 2 of the Merlin Prompt Fest, and we would like to invite YOU to join in.

The fest is open to all genres and pairings – including RPF. ANYONE can submit a prompt, even if you don't plan to create something for the fest, and all prompts can be claimed for both fic and art.

I was wondering about the relation between Arthurian Legends fan and Merlin BBC fan or... well, both : D

Fanart workshop - January 30, 2010, 7pm GMT!

Do you wish you could draw fanart but don't know how to get started? Want to cross over from original art to fanart? Hope to branch out into new mediums and styles? Or simply have an interest in how fanart is produced?

Then the Fanart Workshop this Saturday is for you! Come ask your questions and get answers from several fanartists from drawmelot on everything from how to get started, to techniques and materials, to motivation. You can also discuss your ideas and stumbling blocks with other potential fanartists like yourself or ask the artists about specific works they've created (for the curious). Beginners welcome!

The workshop runs from Saturday, January 30 at 7pm GMT through Sunday. Your artist panel will be littlewolfstar, evebolt, xenakis_, and yue_ix.

A/N: This story features an OC of mine, Percy, who featured in a previous series with his sister Isolda, overbearing father Lord Wyldon (who is rather obsessed with his own noble bloodline), the smug and sanctimonious Sir Rhys, and terrible warhorse Brutus (who only gets a little reference in this one, sadly).
