I was just wondering if anyone else here was interested in being a moderator/maintainer of this group. This is a "just for fun" kind of group, but you never know when we'll need a moderator- plus that means you get to play around with the design of the page and stuff!

Amy was my grandfather's favourite aunt and Lynne is my aunt

5) What does your LJ user name mean/represent, or why did you choose it? Needed a new name and a former friend picked it

2) Who are you named after? If not named after anyone in particular, do you know why your parents named you Amy? My parents were going to name me Alison, but right before I was born my dad said he wanted to name me Amy--after a really beautiful doll he found and bought for my mom.

4) Where are you from (you don't need to be specific, the closest big city or a vague part of a state is fine)? I'm from Silver Spring, MD about 7 miles away from Washington D.C.

5) What does your LJ user name mean/represent, or why did you choose it? I chose salymander as my LJ name, because they're on of my favorite animals. I've always thought their mythology was neat--a water creature that lives in the fire. Sounde a lot like me, I think. I also have humor column at www.collegeboredom.com where my name is Sylvia Salymander

6) Anything else you would like to share? I'm an English major at Columbia Union College. I'm going to be graduating in December hopefully, and then going on to grad school to study creative writing. Oh, I'm also a Joss Whedon addict.
