Marcus Flint/Katie Bell

Created this account on the off chance there’s still some activity here to put me out of my misery.

I’m searching for a Katie-Marcus story I had bookmarked for a long time. Now that I’m once again in a HP mood and want to read it, it’s gone.

It’s about K. and M.’s life starting from when they were kids right into adulthood. It was a funny and fluffy story from what I can recall, most def AU with no mention of war. I remember K. having a brother named Mike or Mick or something like that who was a real jerk to her, and M. having father who thought M. was a momma’s boy. I also remember M. had a lot of sisters who used to play dress up with him.

It was on AO3 and was a fairly long story. I know the author had dozens of stories but they’re all gone. The name of the writer escapes me, something flower like.

Anyone have an idea what the story’s called and where I can find it or the author?

Author's Notes: While wandering about this vast "new" world I've decided to join (LJ), I stumbled across the title of a post and was greatly inspired by the headline. This is to be my first fic post on the site as well as my first offical K/M fic! How exciting! I'm not sure exactly how I felt about the characterization, so let me know what you guys think of them, if you'd like :)

Author's Notes: I would like to dedicate this to the amazing jenszabo, because she's a wonderful and very inspiring writer. Sadly, this little One-Shot didn't turn out the way I wanted it to; it was much better in my head, seriously. I screwed it up while I wrote it. =/ Anyways, hope you like it!^^ =)
And to explain a bit beforehand: I was playing Katie in a RP and someone I found on a character search board played Marcus. In one of the two RPs where I played her with this partner, she was 17 and he was 21; so it's canon-compliant, I think.^^ xD I tried to picture them the way they are in that RP. My RP-partner comfirmed me that I did a good job on her version of Marcus, which I'm really glad about.^^

If anyone still comes on here (goodness I do, hoping to see new fics) and happens to have Detained, chapter 13 that they could send to me, I would adore you. I read it years ago and only recently discovered that there is a thirteenth chapter somewhere in the internet.

Not sure if anyone still checks this or not, but I'm looking for a Katie/Marcus fic and I'm not sure if I read it here or it's stumbling about out there in the ether but Marcus and Katie live in the same village and the village gets burned down. Katie rescues Marcus and they kinda go into hiding. Sound familiar to anyone? Thanks for any help :)
