I've been playing around with a couple of sims I created in the likeness of George Stobbart and Nico Collard of 'Broken Sword' fame, so I thought I would post a few pictures.

I'm currently trying to make Nico's apartment look like a perfect replica, but haven't found all the content I need yet :P Also, I will probably end up making new sims of them as well, even though I did spend a long time trying to get their faces right (still not 100% happy with them, and I think Nico's eyes are actually dark green...Hmmmmm :-O).

Anyway! Here are a few pictures of the two messing around and possibly investigating a case or two (most likely involving the Knights Templar :P).

I’d like to take the chance to apologise for my absence the last couple of months. University work was far heavier than I ever expected it to be, and any spare time I had was spent asleep. However, as the teaching year is over I’m afraid that I’m here to stay for the next four months or so. So, no more month or two breaks at a time for me ;)

A little outline of what is in store with regards this journal over the coming months –

- Apart from long needed updates of all my current storylines (inc. Tale of Two Sisters and the light-hearted X Babies), I am starting to undertake a rather large Sims 2 building project. If you’re fans of the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett it may be of interest to you.
- There are several sims I have made/am making, just for fun, from a few of my favourite computer games. So they will on display and for download in due course. For any Broken Sword fans, George Stobbart and Nico Collard are already exploring the world of my sims ;)

I spent a little quality time with Sugar Darling and Dylan Stark earlier on. He has to introduce his newest model to the world at some point - and he figured why not ask me to post a few photos of the girl?

What on earth are X Babies?

Well...a while ago I downloaded a lot of X men skins from Mod the Sims 2, made by SynapticSim. I am a big fan of the X Men, mostly due to my boyfriend's compulsive comic collecting. So, X men in my game were a rather cool thing to have.

However, what I'm really interested in is making lots of little 'X babies' - seeing what children the X men could produce. I have several pairings in mind for each X man just for variety :P

I've decided to keep a picture record of all the pairings and X babies in this journal, not only for myself, but for others to enjoy (I hope!)

This post concerns House One, which currently contains four well known X men. And hopefully, some X babies in the very near future :P

Hope you enjoyed this rather odd post, and heck, if anyone likes the X Men and wants to see some specific pairings and their offspring, let me know! I'm going to try and get as many as I can!

This chapter is in two parts, the first being entirely different to all previous chapters. Each section below runs in chronological order according to what has taken place in the story so far. The second part, which should be up next week, will be in the usual format.

Thank you to all who left such kind and touching messages in my last entry. I am sorry I did not reply to you all, but I hope you know all your words were appreciated.

This post is in honour of one of my best friends, my dog, who passed away earlier this evening.

I am working on updates for this journal and hope to have them up soon. But tonight I am taking a break from the writing and the sims 2.

I will reply to all comments/posts/emails as soon I can, I know I have been lazy on the commenting but life has been getting in the way.

This is just a quick note to let everyone know what is going on at the moment:

I have just finished my University exams, and as they came after Christmas I unfortunately had to spend my whole holiday revising. That was not the most fun I've had in my life, and certain problems at home haven't helped the situation.

But as the exams ended last week and I finally have time, my writing is back on track and full steam ahead!

I am currently working on a new chapter of The Maple Affair, and (at long last) a chapter of A Tale of Two Sisters. Set building is my current priority for both.

So fingers crossed both updates will be online in the next week or so.

Thanks to all for being so patient, and I can only apologize for any waiting I've caused you!

I don't know where this came from, but it festered all week so I caved in and wrote it. I should have been doing work on my lab project... :P

Sorry for my general lack of being around, I have a lot going on in Real Life from University work (I'm sure I'm not alone in that, lol) and general RL issues. So I'm sorry to all for lack of replies in this journal and in your own journals. I will rectify this as soon as I have the chance to. In the meantime, I dedicate this story to all who read it :D

Phew, these guys are getting demanding ;) Especially since I want to go and play with Andy, who has moved out of the family home, so I can keep all the generations in tune throughout the neighborhood. It's a bigger task than I thought, to say the least!

I'm sorry if I'm not around my journal as much in the coming weeks and that I haven't been recently, I'm just having a bit of a sad time in real life right now. Plus I have managed to catch a bad cold! Always rotten :(


Last time we saw Herman (Legacy Founder) and his family he and his wife, Brandi, had aged into elders. Christine (child number three) had aged into a child, Simon (child number two and the Heir) had just come back from College and Andy (firstborn) had moved out of the family home with his fiancee...
