YOMAL is a DJ and producer from Colombo, Sri Lanka. His productions and performances are deeply rooted in storytelling, weaving hypnotic grooves, cinematic soundscapes, and melodic depth to create transformative experiences both on and off the dancefloor. Having released on acclaimed labels such as Purrfection, Digital Emotions, and Beatdown Music, YOMAL continues to build a reputation for his refined sound design and forward-thinking approach to electronic music. Guided by his philosophy of Music with Purpose, his artistry transcends entertainment; it’s an invitation to connect, reflect, and evolve. Beyond his work as a producer, YOMAL is a renowned presence in Sri Lanka’s underground scene. He co-founded Underground HQ, the collective behind some of the island’s most influential event series. He is also the co-founder of Underground Syndicate, an international artist management agency, and currently serves as the Head of Yaga Music Academy, a creative institution empowering the next generation of music producers and artists. Additionally, YOMAL is the Label Manager of Synthesis Recordings, a world-class record label representing some of the best artists and finest music in the global electronic scene. With each set, YOMAL channels an atmosphere of intention and energy, leaving a lasting impression that extends beyond the music itself.
