HapHaz7ard
I have always enjoyed Jazz Funk music, particularly bands like Incognito and Freeez, and fascinated by how melodic and
percussive slap bass is in their music and how energetic but also sort of chill a lot of the music is for me. That is why one of the
first electronic genres I got into making was Lo-Fi Hip Hop.
I try to make my music both seem nostalgic and fresh sounding simultaneously by combining chill sections with higher energy
sections.
The aesthetic of Haphaz7ard represents a big part of my life over the course of writing the album including things including how
random my process of producing is jumping from sound designing then taking a break to work on the mixdown then going to
melody writing.
I really like exploring and experimenting with new techniques across the whole production process and Colour Bass has been
such a fun genre to create in combining both more aggressive and more melodic sounds together.
