gens_abo

gens_abo was born in Romagna, in a medieval provincial village in Italy. He started going to FreeTekno raves at a young age to escape the monotony of the country and got fascinated by the environment and the extreme freedom of the FreeParty movement. The two Korg Electribe drum machines he bought let him develop the movement, often performing in an altered states of consciousness. At the age of 30 he started a recovery program and music helped to overcome the toughest moments, turning on his Korg tubes and playing with them, trying to reproduce sensations and emotions of times gone by, but following a new interpretation. Now, several years later, gens_abo embodies a personal imprinted style inspired by melodic techno music which mixes the analogue of drum machines and synthesizers with modern digital techniques, using different controllers that allow him a stimulating and engaging live experience. He works with the support of a professional master&mixing studio.
