Chopper

Chopper is a producer, DJ, multi-instrumentalist and sound engineer from Dundee, Scotland, now moving between his hometown and London. His sound sits at the intersection of house, acid and techno — raw, rhythmic and driven by a deep love of hardware, groove and sound design. A lifelong musician, Chopper brings a strong sense of musicality to both his sets and productions, blending live instrumentation with carefully sculpted electronic textures. His releases have been gaining serious traction, with tracks receiving support from some of the world’s biggest DJs and producers. Most recently, his EP 400 Miles An Hour reached number 2 on Beatport, marking a major milestone in his rapidly growing profile. In the club, Chopper is known for high-energy, genre-spanning sets that keep dancers locked in while never quite knowing what’s coming next. Closely connected to the London underground, he regularly plays key venues across the city and has also performed internationally, including recent shows at Slakhuset in Stockholm, Sweden, as well as appearances in Switzerland. Alongside this, he continues to build his name through regular radio appearances on platforms such as Brixton Radio and Groovetank Live. Whether in the studio, behind the decks or mixing down someone else’s project, Chopper brings a hands-on, no-nonsense approach to sound.
