Xavier Fux

Xavier Fux is one of Mexico's top DJs and producers. During his career of over 30 years, he has moved with perfect ease through three completely different styles and genres of electronic music: House, Psy-Trance and Chill/Dub. As a DJ, he was a resident at KM5 in Ibiza from 2005-2012, and also played numerous times at Space, Amnesia, Pacha, Privilege, Bora Bora, Cafe del Mar, Blue Marlin and all over the world in countries such as Denmark, Germany, Holland, Spain, UK, Japan, Israel, Egypt, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, and Canada. He has a weekly radio show called Radio Zulu which has been on air since 2006, when Ibiza’s premiere radio station, www.ibizasonica.com was founded. . His downbeat Label Zulu Lounge released 9 compilations out of which Mar Y Tierra and Satori reached the top 10 in the European and Japanese charts. His Psy Trance band Vatos Locos formed by Doof, Earthling and Xavier, released two classic albums: Welcome to the Barrio and Attack and Release, and was a headlining act in the Trance festival scene during 2000-2004 when the band dissolved. Xavier is back in the studio after a 5-year parenting hiatus and his recent work can be found on labels such as Sounds of Earth (Mexico), Beat Boutique (Israel), Copy Cow (Berlin), KMT, Born in Mexico, and Rezongar Records (Argentina). His single “Plantas Sagradas” was a big hit in the Tulum and Ibiza dancefloors. He is currently a part of the Pareidolia Music Dj Roster having played with them in Ibiza, Tulum, and Toronto. Xavier has now made Toronto his new home and is super excited to contribute to the thriving music community of the city.
