Lamsi is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer firmly embedded in the club ecosystem. Lamsi’s sound is built for movement: forward-thinking house, bubbling, percussive club music and Kawina rhythms, fused into high-impact, dancefloor-ready productions. Drawing from Surinamese musical traditions and UK club lineage alike, his music balances raw groove with precision, tracks designed to hit without losing their cultural weight. A Rinse FM resident, Lamsi is known for seamlessly combining club references with underground releases. As a producer, Lamsi’s sound is clearly reflected in projects such as Caribbean Speed Garage Vol. 1, where UKG structures meet Caribbean and Afro-diasporic rhythm, and Kawitrance, a release rooted in trance-like repetition and traditional Kawina percussion. His output is increasingly focused on original club weapons, but designed for everyone in mind. With appearances on Boiler Room (Amsterdam & London), performances across the UK and Europe, and a strong presence on Rinse FM, Lamsi enters 2026 with a growing international profile and a sound that connects UK club lineage with Afro-diasporic dance culture.
