James Wolfe

James Wolfe is a veteran DJ, producer, and founder of Frajile Recordings, with over 30 years in the electronic music scene. A pioneer of Florida's electro bass and breaks movement, he began spinning vinyl at 14 and was playing major raves like RAPTURE by 1995. By 1999, he launched Frajile, debuting with Techtonic Plates EP alongside mentor Scratch-D of Dynamix II. As a co-founder of Resident Alien with Exzakt, Wolfe helped define the Florida electro sound. His sets—ranging from raw electro to peak-time breaks—have lit up festivals like Ultra, WMC, and FSOB, where he's shared stages with legends like Anthony Rother, Carl Finlow, and Karl Bartos (Kraftwerk). Wolfe’s production catalog is deep, with collabs and remixes for Rabbit in the Moon, Jackal & Hyde, AE35, and more. Recently, he's been releasing fresh originals (Can’t Breathe) and remixing for Rob Cokeless and FACTORe with studio partner Beezie. His collab with J-Break, Hooked, hit #2 on Beatport via ElectroBreakz. Still pushing boundaries, Wolfe remains a vital force in underground electro—fearless, innovative, and always a step ahead.
