ARJ (IR)

ARJ (IR) is a 24-year old Toronto-born electronic music producer and DJ with Iranian roots known for his work in deep progressive house. He developed a natural connection to the genre’s hypnotic grooves and long-form storytelling by the age of 5 from his parents. By 2019, that early passion evolved into action when he began DJing, spending years refining his taste and understanding of flow behind the decks. In 2025, he expanded his creative vision by stepping into music production, translating the influences and musical intuition built over years of listening and DJing into his own original compositions. He developed his craft through dedicated experimentation and a growing interest in creating immersive, evolving compositions, most notably alongside fellow progressive house artist Will Daley. With music now signed to labels such as Purrfection, Rude Resonance, Mango Alley, Venture, Plastic Fantastic, Freegrant and Kitchen Recordings to name a few, and having already received support from John Cosani, Da Luka, Hernan Cattaneo, Redspace, Mariano Mellino, Gorkiz, Antrim, Blake Jarrell, Ruben Karapetyan, Luca Abayan, Nicolas Viana, Fabri Lopez, EMPHI, Sahar Z and having shared the stage with progressive house artists including Guy Mantzur, Hicky & Kalo, Armen Miran, Mayro, DJ Ruby so far—ARJ (IR) continues to refine his artistic voice with steady growth and authentic expression.
