We Are Tall Order

Formed in Scotland in 2012 We Are Tall Order consists of DJ and Music Producer Michael McNeill and VJ and visual alchemist Chris Dodds. Together they work on new music productions, DJ sets, nightclub promotions, stage designs, L.E.D light sculptures, L.E.D pixel mapping and visuals pre production and performance. Learning from each other being at each end of the audio and visual spectrum they manifest solid and chunky underground house music tracks and associated visual experiences to enhance their DJ set. We Are Tall Order’s audible essence has affectionately been described as primitive cave rave dance with predominately beat heavy tracks layered with danceable rhythms. Sticking to a house music tempo, the primitive beats are dark, intriguing and thought provoking drawing reference from Acid, techno and house music sounds integrated with African style percussion, beats and rhythms. Big build ups and banging, rhythmic and euphoric drops are aplenty with the main intention of keep the dance floor moving into the closing time of the party.
