SIMA (RO)

Catalin Sima, born in 94, i'm a DJ and a producer. My passion for music has always existed, but the electronic music scene really caught my eyes in 2010. I am well known for my adaptability to the public, but my mixing style is really special, managing to fuse elements from deep-house music with tech-house, even minimal. My career as a DJ began to take shape in 2014, when i made my mark on relevant scenes in Romanian music. I played in famous locations in Bucharest and in the country such as: Funky Lounge Herastrau, Nuba, Freddo Bar and Lounge, Tete a Tete Herastrau, Bragadiru Palace, Bunker 91, Sibiu (PlayOff Bar and Lounge), Ramnicu Valcea (Alioli Altceva , The Place, Ok Ballroom, Deep Forest Fest), Galati (Summertime Pub), Constanta (Livingroom Mamaia, Kudos Beach, BT Cafe Afterhours, Roma Cafe, Wasted Afterhours, Argo Beach Mamaia, Signature Beach), Cluj (Private Party), etc. In 2018, I moved to Ibiza, which took me to another level in my career. I played in well-known clubs on the island, in Playa D'en Bossa and San Antonio. At the end of March 2019 i started to dedicate more time to music production and collaborated with well-known artists such as Adrian Eftimie, Dobrikan, Brad Brunner, Francesco Squillante, Adapter, Gianluca Rattalino, Rone White, Dj Entwan, Alessandro Diruggiero, Catalin Cristian, Marta Tadei, Renno, Allen and many others. My productions have been signed by record labels such as Sura Music, Double Trouble, Playpo, Substrate Limited, Distance Music, Unnamed & Unknown, Knostra Music, Famille Electro, Selectro, Klap Music, Blasa Records, Witty Tunes and others. My "Fallin" track signed to the Unnamed & Unknown label was in Beatport Tops, played by Marco Carola at the Sunwaves Festival and downloaded by Paco Osuna, Steve Lawler, Neverdogs and many others. Over time, I shared the stage with DJs such as Mahony, Roberto Surace, Blackchild, Antonio Pica, Francesco Squillante, Adrian Eftimie, The Gang (RO), Rosario Internullo, Tomi & Kesh, Andre Rizo, Dobrikan, Mark Knight, Optick, Gorgon City and more.
